After getting completely frustrated with trying to get an image management module working in Zikula, I decided to take a break and install Linux Mint on my laptop.
Whoa, this site looked like crap when using Firefox in Linux...
I typically test sites using the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox on one of my Windows systems and call it done. OSX is something I'll never do again unless I get PAID, and Linux has just never done if for me.
Every now and then though I'll check out a few distributions of Linux just to see if there's been any improvements. I usually stick to playing with a few Live CDs, but the latest Linux Mint seemed fancy enough to play with for a bit, so I installed it. As with different operating systems and even different distributions of Linux, the font support is always just a little different. Since I based the theme for this site on SeaBreeze, I just assumed it would be ok.
I made some changes to the stylesheet to make things a little better for the Linux Hippies, but I think I'll have to tweak things to get the best results.
Since I'm leaving town for a week tomorrow, I guess that will have to wait.
