I still have a couple commercial projects to finish up and I'll be free to work on this site a whole lot more. At this time I'm just dipping my toes in the Zikula water to get a feel of how everything works together.
Unlike my previous sites, I'm going to attempt to use the stock modules as much as possible. By "stock modules" I mean that I'm going to try to not use Pagesetter for everything :) I really love Pagesetter so this might be hard.
As I add to and improve this site, I'll be writing tutorials as I go as well as improve the documentation. My current plans include.....
creating comprehensive documentation aimed at the typical non linux-geek site administrator, perhaps adding a module reviews section, and I hope to be able to do some video tutorials for accomplishing typical tasks.
I find the existing documentation wiki to be totally unusable, so I'll be utilizing the Co-Type module to keep things formatted and organized. Although the documentation team was a great bunch of fellas, it just didn't suit my style, as I tend to want to do things my way.
